Crawling Out from Under the Rock
{And....PUSH} -- Yikes, that sun is bright!!! No, I haven't been sleeping for 900 years, but I do feel as if I've been "underground" for way too long. That's not to say that I haven't been knitting and fibering up a storm... I have a lot to show for my blogworldly absence. Let's see, there've been socks knitted, squares woven, fibers spun, and last but definitely not least: a WHOLE blanket knitted square by square, then crocheted together with an EZ (Elizabeth Zimmerman) sideways border knitted all the way around -- using reverse knitting, mind you -- presented to my nephew Alex as a graduation and "going off to college" present. Pictures to follow as soon as I've uploaded them. I don't know how folks manage to both create things and blog about them. There's just not enough hours in the day and energy in the universe for me to accomplish both. So now that my hands are bereft of the blanket project for the first time in a year and a half, I'll try to get this blog back on track and up to date. Then I'll feel my way into the depths of Ravelry; for up till now I've only dipped my toe into that vast pool of creativity. My ravelry ID is JudyBee but I've yet to explore much and I haven't logged in projects etc. Stay tuned for the photo tour of the blanket, square by square, a cable sampler.
